The State Veterinary Surgeons’ Association (SVSA) marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its prestigious 33rd Annual General Meeting and Annual Convention at the Monarch Imperial Hotel on February 09, 2024.

 

The event was graced by distinguished guests including Agriculture and Plantation Industries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera as the Chief Guest and State Minister D.B.Herath as the guest of honor.

 

SVSA President Dr.Sisira Piyasiri welcomed the audience at the event, setting the tone for an eventful evening.The gathering was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Ushan Pallegama, President, World’s Poultry Science Association who delivered an insightful guest speech on ‘Poultry Industry of Sri Lanka.

 

The newly elected leadership is poised to guide the association towards new heights of excellence and service to the veterinary profession.
